Tuition Policy

Framingham Youth Football and Cheer (FYFC) is a community-based, volunteer-run youth program committed to offering area youth an opportunity to learn the game of football and cheer as well as the principles of teamwork, competition, and good sportsmanship in a supportive environment. In addition, FYFC prides itself on providing excellent value for its members and strives to keep its costs to a minimum. We operate on a very tight, balanced budget, and to successfully keep costs as low as possible we require each family to pay their tuition on a timely basis.

Members of the FYFC Board of Directors meet yearly to study the program and estimate costs for the following season. Because FYFC is non-profit, our goal every season is for income and expenses to match. Our tuition estimates are based on the expected number of players as well as projected expenses.

The tuition payment schedule for FYFC is as follows:

  • Pay in full at time of registration - $325
  • If you choose to pay in installments, we require a $150 down payment.
    • Second installment (25% of tuition) due May 1st
    • Third installment (25% of tuition) due July 1st
    • Final tuition installment (remaining tuition balance) due Aug 1st

We are committed to making the program available to all interested youth and will work with individual members to accommodate special situations. However, it is the responsibility of the individual members to either make tuition payments on time or communicate with the FYFC treasurer to establish an alternate arrangement.

Because of FYFC’s commitment to be fiscally accountable to all of its members, FYFC has a strict “No pay, no play” policy. Failure to make timely tuition payments (without communicating with the FYFC treasurer to establish alternate arrangements) will result in a player being removed from all activities until such time that payments (or alternate arrangements) are made.

FYFC does not provide tuition refunds if a player withdraws from his/her team after August 20th. Additionally, FYFC will not allow you to register your athlete the next season until all tuition installments (and any old balances) have been paid up to the date of notification of withdrawal from FYFC.
